We are part of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a denomination serving Christ since our founding in a Tennessee log cabin in 1810. The Cumberland Presbyterian Church has approximately 100,000 members in the United States, Colombia, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, and Mexico. Our headquarters are in Cordova, Tennessee. We support Bethel University (McKenzie, TN), Memphis Theological Seminary, and the Cumberland Presbyterian Children's Home (Denton, TX).
Red River Presbytery evolved from North Central Texas Presbytery, previously Dallas Presbytery, previously Gregory Presbytery, previously Red Oak Presbytery, previously Weatherford Presbytery — regardless of the name, the Presbytery consists of a conglomerate of churches filled with believers who expound the truth of the Whosoever-Will-Gospel, known as the doctrine of a people called Cumberland Presbyterian.
